Western Equipment Dealers Association (WEDA) - formerly SouthWestern Association - has been the management organization for JDUG since 2008. From our offices at 638 W. 39th St., Kansas City, Mo., the Western Equipment Dealers Association helps a diverse group of associations achieve the goals of continuity, stability, efficiency and profitability desired by most groups.

Founded in 1889, WEDA was established by a progressive group of independent hardware and farm implement/mercantile dealers to help increase their profitability and solve common problems. While the Association's scope of interest has evolved over time, the basic concept of working together for the common good remains the same. WEDA serves equipment dealers of all sizes and brands throughout their territory, which includes Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Washington and Alaska in the United States, and the four western provinces of Canada.

JDUG’s executive director is Olivia Holcombe, CAE. She has been with WEDA, JDUG’s management organization, since 1994 and involved in the Association management profession since 1976. Olivia manages the day-to-day activities of JDUG and acts as primary liaison to the Board of Directors. She is the point of contact for members on any issue. She holds a Masters Degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) and received her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 1997, and the certificate of completion from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management in 1999.

At WEDA, we have a passion to serve our members and see our clients prosper. Combining responsiveness and capability with impressive value, the Association's highly trained management and staff also manage a number of other trade and professional associations. We are dedicated to serving members, whether those members are Western Equipment Dealers Association members or members of your organization. We have been able to maintain a superior level of service by creating economies of scale through sharing of staff and resources with our clients.

We view ourselves as an important part of the team. We work closely with the executive committee, board and committee chairs of JDUG to achieve the organization’s goals. Feel free to call us at 800-762-5616, mail to PO Box 419264, Kansas City, MO 64141-6264, or email Olivia at oholcombe@westerneda.com about any question or concern.
